The Üç Güzeller (Three Graces) are three fairy chimneys standing in a row beside the main Göreme–Ürgüp road, each with a dark basalt cap atop a tall white tuff pillar. They grace countless Cappadocia travel posters and are the most recognizable single image in the region.

Visiting Them

Located 3 km west of Ürgüp on the D765. A small pull-off area with a cafe and gift stalls. Free to photograph. Best light: morning (east-facing). The roadside setting makes this easy to visit en route between Göreme and Ürgüp.

Photography Tip

Include the surrounding landscape and sky in your shot — isolated chimney shots look flat. Morning mist in autumn and winter creates especially atmospheric images.
